The Diploma in Professional Computing and Information Processing :

Awarded by the Institute of Commercial Management (I.C.M.)

ICM a recognised international examining and awarding body for students undertaking general business and management studies and examines and certifies candidates to an internationally consistent standard.

Introduction

This ICM Processional Computing and Information Processing Programme is designed for those who either wish to make a career in the field of computing or who need a sound all round knowledge of the subject area.

Objective

This course is structured for those with sound data entry and applications experience, providing they also have numeracy and accounting skills. Successful candidates will have a firm basis or seeking positions as computer operators or trainee programmers. Candidates who do not wish to make computing a career will have attained a high level of computer literacy and awareness which will enhance their job prospects in other areas.

Course Applicants

Individuals who seek an understanding of the marketing concept and an appreciation of how the marketing function is organised.

Course Materials

Lecturers will provide lecture notes and recommend a range of supplementary material where appropriate.

Course Schedule

This course is held over two academic years Monday to Thursday.
